getaway

Man I am sleeeepy, but I wanna get this post out before I start packing later on this afternoon/morning before I leave for the weekend. I still need to get my things together, and to find my sleeping bag, but I'll worry about it when I wake up.

I'm going away on a retreat at Evan's Lake near Squamish. I'm honestly really excited to get away from the city and to just have some nice time to reflect on myself and to meet and bond with like-minded people. A lot of things have been going on in my mind lately and this will be the perfect time for me to work it out. I also have some very exciting news...but I am holding off on exposing what that is for a reason. I believe in fate, and if things are meant to be for me, then it will all happen in its own time.

I just saw the World's Best Commercials with my brother. We laughed a bunch; we were confused a bunch; but overall we were quite entertained!

This is the commercial that won the Grand Prize. It's hilarious, and I am in LOVE with this song (again).

Been going through an overwhelmingly awkward and confusing stage of my life. I do just enough to get by, but I want more. I'll always want more. Hopefully with this new year I get my shit together and start this new chapter right.

On the brink of 100 views!

My '50 things' video now stands at 99 views! Wooohooo

So I'm taking a break from working the Friday Midnight Horror, but I am most definitely working the Saturday Midnight Cult Classics. I am so exhausted and I need a break from working two Midnight shifts and the wonky sleeping pattern that results from those weekends. I've messed up my sleeping pattern even more, now what with the semestre having begun and having classes that start before noon! That and, I've been staying up late usually to edit/upload another video. I am getting the hang of this new hobby. I was brainstorming today on the bus and came up with a lot of cool ideas and I'm quite excited to see where my creativity takes me.
