Ahh. Just relaxing at home after being let out of work early. :)
This afternoon we had a special screening of a documentary called Hijacking Humanity. I'm not completely sure what the show is about, but we did get a cool crowd. Unfortunately I left too early and I didn't get to bump into Kheyann, one of my best friends at work. I haven't seen her in awhile, not to mention about half my co-workers who are also good friends. I missed Tally's get-together/goodbye party yesterday at Havana's, but for good reasons (See previous post). Anyway, on the way home I was thinking about going to Bang-On at Metrotown to grab a sailor's cap for this theme party tonight , but sitting here now, I feel pretty satisfied that I didn't go, and I probably won't need to go if I just find the right clothes to wear. I should however probably go make some food for myself so I don't drink on an empty stomach like the mess I was last week. :S
So about the BOAT SHOW! Tonight a friend of mine is hosting a party for some friends at our college. It seems "Boats and Hoes" (Step Brothers) has become a bit of a theme ever since our orientation retreat where a few individuals started chanting it during talent night. Of course, we were told not to say the word "hoes" again and have since converted to using "Boatshow" as a more polite term when discussing it on campus. Hah. Above is the banner my sister created for the event.
Pictures to come!
Stay classy,
