Blindness

Tim and I just saw Blindness at the Rio. A friend of mine who had the chance to see it at the Toronto International Film Festival told me it was really hard to watch. I now know what she meant. I often had to cover my eyes with my hands or Tim's hands, or bury my face into his shoulder. The sunken feeling in my heart reminded me of how Children of Men was also very difficult for me to watch. I liked it anyway, and I definitely recommend watching Blindness if you're up for the challenge.

After having seen a lot of disturbing things that nearly brought me to tears, I'm afraid of what I might dream tonight.
